Allenstown man jailed for brandishing shotgun in Pembroke playground

PEMBROKE — An Allenstown man remains jailed after his arrest for brandishing a shotgun in a Pembroke playground during a drug deal gone bad Sunday afternoon.
Nathan Derkacz, 19, was charged with reckless conduct and is being held on $5,000 cash bail.
At about 1:45 p.m. Sunday, police said Derkacz displayed a shotgun during an argument over marijuana at Memorial Field in Suncook Village.
Derkacz fled the area before police arrived but was apprehended about 45 minutes later in a vehicle on Route 3 in Allenstown.
